After Walt Disney died, his wife gave $50,000,000 to build the monument for Walt Disney in 1987. It is very popular and I went there 2 times. They have an orchestra that plays great music while a play goes on. The orchestra was the L.A. Philharmonic. The first visit was about a mystery of who killed the composer and the second visit was about a boy finding the music for the orchestra to play who turned out to be the composer. It was in downtown L.A. in the Music Center with other theaters or stages.
I got this information in "A Journey Through the Music Center" from the Blue Ribbon Children's Festival.
