The Tam O'Shanter Inn is a restaurant and inn that served guests for 87 years on 1922 (a year before the Walt Disney Company opened). The place was a reststop and dining place quarters for Walt Disney himself and his partners to also meet and talk about animation for the company. That's actually the place where Walt and his partners also came up with Disney's first movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in December 1937. Walt also came up with the idea of having Disneyland in California. Technically, it has a lot of Disney history and it is still in the Los Feliz area in Los Angeles.

Disney Rock!
Disney is firing back with tons of magical movies coming up. Plenty is happening as you know that this holiday season Old Dogs, The Princess and the Frog, and A Christmas Carol coming up. Next summer, Toy Story 3 is going to hit theatres with a hit. Next Earth Day, Disney will show a new movie just like the movie, Earth. It will be a new movie called Oceans. Tim Burton and Disney is ganging back up for the new movie, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, the whole new creation of weird imagination based on the old classic cartoon. In 2011 or 2012, Disney and Pixar will be making the sequel of the award-winning cartoon you probably all know, Cars 2. Also from research, they are planning to make The Lone Ranger in 2011. I found research that I finally found out that they are PLANNING to have Monsters Inc. 2. I will be posting up more movies when I hear more. More info at, www.disney.com/movies.

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 Double Feature
Last week, I saw the Toy Story and Toy Story 2 Double Feature in theatres. They even did a little remastering to make the movie more better on 3-D. They even had a ten-minute intermission between the two movies. You probably already know the movies. The first movie, a toy named Buzz Lightyear arrives in "Andy's Room" where his toys come alive when he leaves them. Woody and Buzz then goes on an adventure in the outside world. The second movie, Woody gets taken by a collector to be sold and Buzz and his friends go out to save him. You may know that back then it was a hit movie. Now it has come back and it still has a top rating with four stars. Before the double feature, they actually showed the exclusive trailor of Toy Story 3. It was about Andy growing up and in a week, he would be going to college. It looks like it will be as good and funny as the movies before I will try to get the trailor on my site from YouTube from a few people that work in the Walt Disney Company so check back on this post.

By its information, I think that Cars 2 will be about Lightning McQueen going on a world tour. Can't wait and I will post more information as soon as I get it.

Kingdom Keepers Books of Ridley Pearson
Even in school I recommended these books for book club. And in turned out that everyone in my group loved it. Ridley Pearson, the author of these books, used to be the co-author of the mystery and crime books. I have read all of these books. Kingdom Keepers and Kingdom Keepers II is about a group of teenagers that live in Florida who got chosen to be Walt Disney World's next programmed holograms. When night comes everything in the resort comes to life. As the chosen people sleep, they transform into holograms and be inside the resort. They were also chosen to stop the Disney villains from controlling the resort and if that succeeds, they could rule the world. It is a great book, filled with action and a bit of comedy. By the ending of the book, it gives a possibility that there is a third book, Kingdom Keepers III.

Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 Concert
Last night, my family went to the Staples Center and saw the Jonas Brothers Concert. It even featured Honor Society, the Wonder Girls, and Jordin Sparks. I had a real good time in the sold out concert especially when the band jumps on trampolines with a rotating stage along with lasers. The concert had high enthusiasm which made lots of audiences dance. It took until midnight until the concert ended. Part of being a Disney fan is also me being a Jonas Brothers fan. I
took a few photos of the stage in the stadium.

G-Force
It's good to be blogging again. I just went out of the country for a little vacation for two weeks. After coming back, I saw the new (or not so new, for everyone in America) movie of G-Force. It didn't come out yet to the country I visited so I was also excited to come back. As a Disney fan, I definitely saw the movie in Disney Digital 3-D. By now you know what this movie is about, but in the movie a team of special trained animal spies known as G- Force part of the program of the FBI. After being shut down by the FBI, they
accidentally arrive in a pet shop after trying to escape from the agents. Soon they find a few of the secrets being kept including the program, Clusterstorm to make all the appliances come alive to turn to robots threatening to rule the world. Filled with action, comedy, and twists and turns, this is a great family movie especially when it comes right at you in 3-D.
I collect Disney items so this is the complete set of the G-Force 2" action figure that I have.

Opening Weekend Surprise
If you like Disney movies especially when it just came out in theaters, then you should listen to this. Every movie that comes out, on it's opening weekend there is always a surprise for the audience that is based on the movie in only a few theaters to make it special. For example, when Up came to theaters, there were other Disney Pixar characters that visited. Another one is that when the Jonas Brothers 3-D Experience Concert went out, the actual Jonas Brothers had a small concert right in the theater room before the movie started. Also, before Race to Witch Mountain started, Dwayne Johnson came in and signed autographs and everything. He thanked everyone as Disney fans and invited everbody to go to Disneyland. Now, G-Force will have Steve Rushton sing his song,"Ready to Rock " on opening weekend. So keep your eyes out in the new Disney movies. For more information, go to www.disney.com/surprise.
The Witch Mountain Series
You may have known one of the newest movies, "Race to Witch Mountain." But, you probably didn't know that that wasn't the only movie about Witch Mountain they made. That was the third movie. The first was, "Escape to Witch Mountain" then was the second movie, "Return to Witch Mountain. " The first two were Walt Disney Pictures classics years ago. Hopefully, there will be a fourth one or even more movies about Witch Mountain. If there is I will definately say it in this blog. There may be more information on www.disney.com/movies.

Friends For Change
You may know from Disney Channel and Disney XD about Disney's Friends For Change program to help the environment at this time. By little things you can help the planet and to tell your friends to do the same. Just register or log in and pledge to do the activities that are environmental friendly. You can even vote for what Disney can do for a global project on disney.com/friendsforchange. I even registered and did the same so I am announcing this on this blog to all of you guys.
Note: Every Disney website, including this, is listed all on the bottom of the posts so you can easily go on it.

Walt Disney Concert Hall
After Walt Disney died, his wife gave $50,000,000 to build the monument for Walt Disney in 1987. It is very popular and I went there 2 times. They have an orchestra that plays great music while a play goes on. The orchestra was the L.A. Philharmonic. The first visit was about a mystery of who killed the composer and the second visit was about a boy finding the music for the orchestra to play who turned out to be the composer. It was in downtown L.A. in the Music Center with other theaters or stages.
I got this information in "A Journey Through the Music Center" from the Blue Ribbon Children's Festival.

Walt Disney World Monorail Crash
You may know from the news that in Walt Disney World was the first monorail crash that happened since the opening. There was a collission with two monorail trains that killed one of one driver while the other was sent to the hospital of emotional stress. Disney officials said that the safety is so rare to make it good for guests and staff members. They have shut down the monorail in Walt Disney World in Florida for maintenance and further investigation. In my opinion, right now no one should be totally afraid. I have been on it before on Disneyland in California.
Note: I got this information on abc7news.com and searched "monorail" and clicked on stories. Then chose "Disney World Monorail Kills Employee"

Toy Story 3
If you liked Toy Story and Toy Story 2, then you will definitely like Toy Story 3. If you didn't know, then yes there is a third movie. I, of course, didn't see it yet since it is still next year. :-(
Yeah, that's still sad, but I will post a review of it once I see it. Iwill type in the real and accurate date of the opening of the movie on this post.

Up
Last month, I saw this new Disney Pixar movie, Up. After seeing that, I think that their movies get better and better. That cracked the audience up, blasted with tons of action, and is filled with adventure and friendship as Carl and Russell go to Peru on a floating house. They meet a dog named Dugg and a snipe, Kevin. They also have obstacles when the enemies go after them. It is a really good family movie.
Disney Movies and Shows
The last post reminded me of something I had to tell all of you guys. In the future I will also talk about Disney movies and shows. I will even tell reviews of those I watched and what will be coming in the future. So keep checking back and see ya later.
Disney Movie Rewards
Disney Movie Rewards is a website where you can earn points by watching Disney movies or shows on DVDs and movie theatres. By using those points, you can get free Disney items in exchange for Disney items. There are also member benefits and extra things so you can earn bonus points. I love getting things when I am just watching movies. To sign up or want to learn more, go to disneymovierewards.com or mydisneymovies.com.
Broken Maleficent Dragon
As you remember, I went to Disneyland Resort last week and saw Fantasmic! at night. There really was something strange that I didn't mention before. I heard that Maleficent's Dragon was improved, but instead all that showed up was Maleficent growing tall. I just found out in Youtube from the official Disney Parks channel that when they started showcasing the dragon in the beginning day of Summer Nightastic, if I remember it, the dragon was tested and it broke. It will be taking weeks to fix it. If I am wrong or you want to know more about this, go to www.youtube.com and type in disneyland. Find a channel that says disney parks and the video might be there. (Remember many other people are Disney fans too so you can find other videos about this.)

D23
If you don't know what's D23, it's a Disney fan community and it's short for Disney 23. It started to commemorate when Walt Disney made a cartoon studio in California on 1923 which started everything. I want to be a Charter Member for that, but I can't afford it and it is only up to December 31, 2009. But you can still go online and get more information on www.disney.com/d23.

Disneyland's Summer Nightastic
I just arrived Monday night from my trip to Disneyland. It was my 15th time visiting there. It was also Summer Nightastic in Disneyland and I went there for a vacation not only because of the Summer events, but I just graduated and it was Father's Day. It was also good because I have an annual passport. We stayed at the hotel for three days. On Saturday, we arrived at 8:30 pm and only just stayed at the hotel eating Chinese food on room service since it was a blockout date.
On Sunday it was a new day and we were going to the side of the resort, Disneyland Park. I am going to have the time of my life. I experienced lots of new things and I did some old things I tried before. In the souvenir shops, I usually buy Disney pins for collecting. I have been collecting Disney pins ever since 2007 and it was the Pin Festival. (Sooner or later I hope I can upload my WHOLE Disney collection.) I started with the classic attractions, the Pirate's of the Caribbean ride and The Haunted Mansion. Like always, I love the rides every time I go on it. After lunch in the Hungry Bear Restaurant, on the way we went on the Columbus boat that they have people go on it. As it finally docked, we were on our way to Toontown but instead I tried something totally new. It was the first time I went on a MORE roller coaster-like ride, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It was a real thrill. My mom kept pushing me to ride, now I just want to go on it again. For my reward, I found A Big Thunder Mountain Railroad pin for my collection. Nighttime came and we saw a parade, Celebrate! A Street Party. It was a real party and tons of confetti blasted the area. Soon we ate dinner and got good seats for Magical - The Fireworks Spectacular. It was amazing with all the fireworks sparking out in the sky. It is mostly about Disney characters and the show featured Tinker Bell and Dumbo The Flying Elephant flying across the sky while firing fireworks. When it finished we walked to Rivers of America to see, Fantasmic!. It got improved by doubling the size of the crocodile, added Ursala's two eels, and even more surprises. It was a great way to end the day.
It's Monday, and now we went to the other side, Disney's California Adventure Park. To kick it off, after eating at a Mexican grill, I went to the new attraction Toy Story Midway Mania which is a targeting game that is 4-D. I got the highest score out of my parents having 112,000 points and my virtual prize, a beaver. Yeah, a beaver. I then got ready to go on the newly reconstructed Mickey's Fun Wheel. I noticed that it was twice the size than before. It was a really great view. We just went on the non-swinging gondola since we just want to relax. But next time I'm going to get a real thrill going on the swinging gondola. We couldn't see the Electrical Parade because we have to go so to end the day, we decided to go to Grizzly River Rafting Company. Two drops into the water and at the end of the ride I wasn't even wet since I wore my jacket while my parents were soaking wet.
Well, that was my vacation. I had a really great time. I have many things to tell you guys later on what will happen in the future of Disney. A Disney fan must know what will happens to Disney in the future.
